As a registered charity, we work with the local community and other voluntary and statutory organisations in a common effort to provide health and wellbeing, recreation and leisure opportunities. We receive no core funding and rely on partnerships, private hire and voluntary donations to keep this outstanding heritage centre open to all our users and visitors of the diverse community we serve.

What’s on

Venue Hire

Birch Community Centre offers venue hire for community, charity and voluntary group hire and private events.

The Hall, with its impressive hammer-beam ceiling, is a brilliant canvas for setting any mood and light for your event. It is highly adaptable and can transform from cabaret style, formal dinners, in-the-round, dance floor style, acoustic and electric sound. Chairs, tables, a kitchen, sound and light equipment is available for hire.

Private hire helps Birch Community Centre to make this beautiful space available for local groups/charities for activities at affordable prices.

Birch Community Centre receives no core funding. We are able to host events through project funding and partnerships with other organisations. Many of the varied and brilliant public events are private hire and self-promoted. Your support will enable the continuation of community events for all to enjoy and the ongoing maintenance of the historic building. We are grateful for any amounts, as one-off, monthly, or annual donations and legacy gifts in wills.

Thank you.
