Taekwon-do is a self-defence martial art originating from Korea.

Tae means to jump, kick or smash with the foot.

Kwon means to punch or destroy with the hand and fist.

Do means art, way or method.

More information

Taekwon-do was designed to be biomechanically friendly, or in other words, to generate maximum power using only the human body in the most efficient way possible.

At A.C.E Taekwon-do Manchester we focus on the martial art which is a very effective form of self-defence. Additional benefits include fitness, flexibility and self confidence.

All students learn in a safe environment and you will be encouraged to push yourself both physically and mentally on your journey to becoming a black belt.

We welcome anyone that wishes to learn the martial art of Taekwon-do; both new and those returning to study the art.

The first class is only £1. (Normal class price £5 plus a yearly membership fee of £35)
